Web configuration

Software configuration in the web is the latest feature in the archi applications. With this process a license manager can quickly deploy configurations that are synchronized to all computers, and avoid configuring each individual computer. At this stage we are rolling out the configuration of the local path for projects located in the Autodesk cloud. With this feature our applications can save the projecwise settings, in a determined local drive: for instance a network drive. Allowing the project team to work the the exact same application settings, instead of the default settings natually what we are after. Docuflow 5.4 is now updated with this feature. All your cloud projects on BIM360 or Autodesk Docs location can share the same sheet sets settings (including sheet order, pre-defined filenames), project specific advanced filename rules, etc. Now your team can operate with maximum coordination and efficiently with cloud models, as with models in the local drive or in the network drives. We strongly believe that the projectwise configuration provides the simplicity and the speed for publishing documents in a specific project. Demanding BIM managers will enjoy the modularity of our configuration files, stored in xml formated documents, that allow that the existing configurations can be copied to new projects, by following the same path and filename structure. For more information about this new feature please contact us via the forums or the support ticketing system.
