Archi Backup 27.0 is released. It copies your Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 project files to storage your firm controls — a local drive, a NAS or network share, or an S3-compatible bucket — on a schedule, with every downloaded file checked.
What is in this release
- Scheduled backups — hourly, daily or weekly, run by a Windows scheduled task while the backup PC stays on and its Windows user stays signed in (a locked screen is fine). Unchanged files are skipped on later runs.
- Your storage — a local drive, a NAS or network share, or an S3-compatible bucket (presets for AWS S3, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2 and OVHcloud). Back up a folder, a project, a hub or a whole account, following the project's folder structure.
- Mirror, Snapshot and versions — Mirror copies new and changed files and, by default, keeps files deleted in Autodesk. Snapshot keeps dated copies on folder destinations. Copy the current version, or include earlier versions.
- Revit cloud models — available linked models are fetched and each Revit cloud model copy is labelled. Composite models stay Autodesk's published package, as a ZIP with model and links together. Publish before the backup runs: unpublished synced changes are not included.
- Checked files, visible gaps — every downloaded file is hashed and compared with Autodesk's checksum when one is supplied. Run reports show what copied, what was skipped and what could not be copied; Coverage shows projects without a backup job.
- Read-only access — Archi Backup only reads from Autodesk and never changes, uploads or deletes hub data. Project data never passes through our servers.
- Free Explorer — browse hubs, projects, folders and versions, and view coverage, without a licence.
Getting started
- Download Archi Backup from the downloads page and start the free 14-day trial in setup. No card required.
- Ask your Autodesk account administrator to approve Archi Backup once per account. The app's approval helper shows how.
- Create a job, choose the destination and the schedule, and check the first run report.
The user guide covers set-up, schedules and silent installation. Product page and prices: goto.archi/archi-backup.
