Best Desktop for Revit: February 2026 Benchmark Update
For February 2026, the top recommended desktop for Revit pairs the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-Core Processor with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
For desktop coverage, this monthly winner is a recommended pairing of the current desktop CPU leader and desktop GPU leader from separate rankings. It is not automatically the same thing as a submitted single-machine benchmark result.
Current desktop leaders
The CPU leader for February 2026 is the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-Core Processor, with a median CPU time of 7652 ms. The GPU leader is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, with a median GPU time of 1817.5 ms.
Those positions are unchanged from January 2026, so the recommended desktop pairing stays the same month over month.
The highest-ranked submitted desktop system in the current data is different:Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070. That tested combination remains the top system result in February 2026 as well.
What changed from January 2026
The headline result is stability. The CPU leader, GPU leader, and top submitted system all remain unchanged versus January 2026.
Within the rankings, there are small movements in the top CPU list. For example, the Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900 moved ahead of the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor in the current top three. On the GPU side, the top of the chart is effectively unchanged, with the RTX 5070 still narrowly ahead of the RTX 5080.
Methodology note
These rankings exclude entries with missing hardware names and ignore zero or negative test times. Per-machine results use median times, and ranking eligibility requires repeat evidence across at least two unique machines and three raw runs. This helps reduce one-off anomalies without overreacting to isolated submissions.
