Best laptop for Revit monthly benchmark update

The best tested laptop configuration for Revit in July 2026 is the Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 275HX with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. In this month's tested system rankings, that combination placed first with a median CPU time of 8548.3 ms, a median GPU time of 1963.4 ms, and the best overall score.

That result is unchanged from June 2026, when the same CPU and GPU combination also held the top spot. Because this is a laptop ranking, the monthly winner is based only on tested CPU+GPU pairings that appear in the benchmark data.

What leads the laptop rankings in July 2026

The current laptop CPU leader is the Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 275HX, with a median CPU test time of 8402.2 ms. The current laptop GPU leader is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, with a median GPU test time of 1963.4 ms.

Those component leaders also appear together in the top overall tested system this month, which helps make the result straightforward: the leading laptop combination for Revit in July 2026 is the Ultra 9 275HX plus RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.

Other strong tested combinations

  • Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285HX + NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell Generation Laptop GPU ranked second.
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 275HX + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU ranked third.
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU ranked fourth.

If you want to look beyond the monthly winner, the full rankings give a better view of which CPUs and GPUs are repeatedly performing well across multiple tested machines.

Methodology note

These rankings ignore rows with missing hardware names and any zero or negative test times. Per-machine results use median times, and ranking eligibility requires repeat evidence across at least two unique machines and three raw runs. This helps reduce one-off anomalies without overreacting to single submissions.

For laptop overall rankings, CPU performance carries a 70 percent weight and GPU performance carries a 30 percent weight.
